This Kit Kat cake is a sure crowd pleaser! It looks good and tastes even better. The beauty about this cake is that even if you are crap at frosting like I was/am, there is no need to despair. It is so easy to succeed with this cake!

The secret is the sleek and delicious Kit Kat that crowns the sides of the chocolate ganache cake, and conceals ALL frosting imperfections!  And the colourful m&ms just exude happy vibes and are of course irresistible!

Trust me, I made this chocolate & vanilla cake for my nephew’s 2 year old birthday party. We had to beat off many chubby little hands reaching to grab these colourful lovelies and the chocolate Kit Kats! Even before the bday song was sung!

I remember feeling guilty after conceptualising this easy-to-do cake. Would I be feeding the children too much sugar? What if they had too much of a sugar rush and turned into hyper little monsters?!! What if my nephew was the biggest one of all, since he would probably eat the most cake being the Birthday Boy!??

To balance it out, I told my sister I would add healthy superfood blueberries inside the cake. Blueberries are nutritious and filled with anti-oxidants! I know, not much of an equaliser but it did make us both feel better!

Needless to say, the Kit Kat Cake was a huge success and we had a bunch of super hyped-up and super happy 2 year olds!! 😊

PS: I will be posting this cake (or a version of it) at some point very soon, so definitely watch out for it!

Post Update:

I made this Kit Kat Cake again as the January babies’ celebration cake for my church group, this time with strawberries. So Easy, Gorgeous & Delicious!

Holy Bea Honeycomb Cake

Wedding Cake

When I first suggested to my brother to let me make his wedding cake, I reckon I must have been in a food coma or something. My brother and his bride, my new sister-to-be, very kindly said "yes!" even though I am sure they didn't know what they said yes to! As the...

BTS Sweet 16 Jelly Heart Cake

“WHO....WHO IS BTS?” I first heard this acronym from Gorgeous (Daughter No. 1) when she was 15. No, it does not stand for Beat that Sugar or Buy those Shoes. BTS is only the current hottest Korean Boy Band around, holding that title since God knows when. And recently...

Longevity Cake

Longevity Cake

I used to say that the Frozen Elsa Cake was the pinnacle of my baking success; that was before I made this Longevity Cake for Dad's 80th celebration.  So Dad's big 80th birthday was coming up and I knew I wanted to personally make something for him. Well, because 80...

Frozen Elsa Cake

Frozen Elsa Cake
