Cake cutting with mom

This Fabulous@80 blog post is long due but it is one that must be penned and I pen it most joyfully.

Beautiful MamaMy gorgeous Mama

I made a beautiful Fabulous@80 strawberry sponge cake for Mom’s 80th birthday celebration.

And Fabulous@80 was a wonderful fantastic celebration! … Filled with pop quiz, prizes and poetry, great food, family fun, joy, laughter and lotsa love.

Beautiful mama hugsLove and hugs all around

I scoured through hundreds of old photos and made a short videography for the occasion; reminiscing, honouring and remembering Mom as a teenager, as a young woman, at her cheong sam best, as a bride, a wife, a mom, grandma and more!

Mom and DadAn age old love story

Today Mom is turning 87 and active, healthy and still always on the go. We are super blessed to have you Mama! Thank you for everything you have done for us. We won’t be who we are without you ❤️❤️

Mama and IAny guesses who looks most like Mom?

This Fabulous@80 Celebration Cake is a 4 layer vanilla sponge slathered with Chantilly cream and filled full of fresh sweet strawberries.

Fabulous @80 Celebration CakeMy 2kg Fabulous@80 celebration cake!

Back to Fabulous@80! … Even as an octogenarian, Mom is always planning what to do next. She is undaunted in keeping healthy, energetic, positive, passionate, adventurous, relentless and always ready to travel to see and experience the world. That’s the spirit and kind of resilience I want to have too.

Mom and DadMy two treasures ❤️

Truly age is just a number. I’m looking forward to baking more celebration cakes and celebrating every milestone in your journey. Luvya Mama 😘😘
